Societies seem to work best when systems and institutions generate equal opportunities for its citizens. None of us get to choose our genes, family, or environment when we are born so should a fair society find ways to compensate for this?

Rising inequality is a sign of an unhealthy and unjust culture. It’s an unsustainable trend and often masks another underlying problem - economic stagnation, or collapse.

Is rising homeless, food banks, and in-work poverty indicators of a thriving society?

Technology and environmental conditions provide the space for transformational change, but societal progress happens when fringe ideas and excluded groups are integrated into a new mainstream narrative.

  • What skills, attributes, and capacities are we neglecting?

  • How do we create the conditions for conversations and diverse perspectives to be explored?

  • How do we develop experiences which correct for inequalities and allow everyone to flourish?

  • What new stories will emerge which allow us to become aware that we are all connected, and all on the same team?
